Jimmy Bortholow, Hagerstown – lived at Rosewood for 6 years

“At Rosewood I was locked in too much, now I’ve got freedom and my own house key.”
From 1995-2001 Jimmy lived at Rosewood Center, he says the staff didn’t like him and he got into fights. He was also always hungry because the food was bad. Now in the community Jimmy rides his bike and scooter all over the neighborhood. He has a job and rides public transportation. At his home in the community Jimmy cooks his own food and has a lot more freedom.
