During the 3rd quarter of 2005 – July, August and September – thousands more people were indicating a preference to return to community than the Options Counselors saw. Many of the people who had a Q1a response indicating a preference for community were NOT on Medicare, so it is less likely that they were short-timers and more likely long term residents funded by Medical Assistance.
